In , a gay bar opens up in Moorhead, Minnesota , which is right across the river from Fargo, North Dakota. Wiping themselves clean, they agree to keep this secret between them, and all of a sudden, Dakota isn't so bummed at the idea of Dean becoming his new step-father. The bill had passed in the State Senate, but did not have enough votes to pass in the State House.
